Open XFD File

Files with the XFD extension have several types of uses registered.

Extensible Form Description Language

File that is used to represent a structured and legally binding business form; contains business form data including design, digital signatures, online expressions, and business transaction details; addresses business transaction needs for auditability, non-repudiation, preservation of context, and security.

In this application, XFD files are the same as XFDL files. They were designed to be used primarily in government and commercial transactions.

FormFlow 99 Form Data File

File created in the FormFlow 99 format, from JetForm. It contains information for page form elements, such as the names and values ??of text fields. It is used to store form data that can be exported to a PDF document.

In this application, XFD files differ from XFDF, the latter uses an XML-based format.
