Files with format PLAYLIST, are play list of video files created by
PowerDVD, a software DVD player for Windows. PowerDVD saves references to video
clips that the software can play. Play list is saved in a plain text format and ending
with the extension PLAYLIST.
PowerDVD is a software created by CyberLink and is a media player for
Microsoft Windows supporting DVD playback, with Blu-ray playback available
in higher editions.
Play list files generated by
PowerDVD in its most recent versions have extensions .PLS or .M3U instead of PLAYLIST.
In order to open and operate a PLAYLIST file you must have the Cyberlink
PowerDVD software installed on your system.
