Open ODG File

Files with the ODG extension represent an XML-based format of image and graphic documents associated with OpenDocument. ODG stands for Open Document Graphics.

ODG files specify OpenDocument vector image files. ODG is a free and non-proprietary file type freely accessible by several open source programs on Linux, Mac and Windows, for example LibreOffice Draw.

The ODG file extension can vary from ODG to FODG and the format was released in 2005 with some formatting changes, until 2011.

ODG files are not 100% compatible with all image editing and office software available on the market, therefore they have limited readability, thus, ODG is not a universal interchange format and, in most cases , it must be converted before shipment.

However, ODG is compatible with other formats in the LibreOffice office suite, such as ODT, ODF, ODP, and ODS.

To open an ODG file, you must have one of the following programs installed on your system:

Open ODG File on Windows

Open ODG File on Mac OS
