The NJB format and extension was created by Nikon, and was originally called Nikon Photo Index File.
This NJB file was created primarily for the Nikon Capture NX series of software.
The NJB file contains an index of photos taken with a Nikon digital camera, and is saved on the SD camera's memory card in the MISC folder.
NJB files are used to organize photos on the memory card and are not designed to be opened by the user.
In fact, NJB files do not contain actual image data.
