An N3R extension file stores a video created by a proprietary Panasonic security system. It contains video recorded by Panasonic security cameras and downloaded using security system management software.
Panasonic security systems come with proprietary software to control and manage the system called 'Operation Software' which requires the creation of a profile with username and password to log in.
The mentioned program allows to control the pre-programmed cameras.
It is also possible to save images in JPEG format, print them and choose the camera views.
The downloaded video is saved in the proprietary N3R format, which can be played with the ND Viewer program that comes with the security system.
An important feature of this application is that it allows you to convert the N3R video to the .MP4 video format is practically universal in use.
To use N3R files, you must have the ND Viewer installed, however you should know that the United States Department of Veterans Affairs has marked such technology as unapproved, or approves the use, upon issuance of a waiver signed by the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary. (ADAS), the Office of Enterprise Program Management (EPMO) or its designee, and based on a recommendation from the STAT Working Group.
