Open SVS File

SVS files are generated by medical imaging software and contain information in medical instrument specific format. SVS format originated from Leica Biosystems. SVS file format is described on Bio-Formats SVS page. SVS file format could be parsed by Bio-Formats Library.

OpenSlide is a C language library which can open and read SVS file. It also has support for SVS, TIF, VMS, VMU, NDPI, SCN, MRXS, TIFF and SVSLIDE file formats.

In order to open SVS file make sure that you have one of the above libraries or applications installed and double click on the SVS file to open.
