Open DXF File
DXF file is short for Drawing Exchange Format. DXF file format was developed by Autodesk and is used to store advanced CAD models.
DXF file format was developed as more interoperable version of DWG and allows sharing of complex CAD drawings with 3rd party vendors.
You can open DXF file with following applications:
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Autodesk DWG TrueView
- Dassault Systems eDrawings Viewer
- Adobe Illustrator
DXF file could be stored both in ASCII and binary forms. DXF file in ASCII format could be viewed in any text editor.
