DPS extension files have two different uses, namely:
DivX Player 2 Skin File
In this application, the DPS file is a file used by DivX Player version 2, a video player program.
The DPS file contains compressed image files in ZIP format.
Said DPS file includes a file written in XML format that describes the skin images for the buttons, the logo, the main view, the compact view, the font, the resize policy and the play area.
With that said, the DPS file is used to customize the appearance of the DivX player.
It is important to warn in advance that DPS files can be risky, therefore it is recommended not to open this type of untrustworthy file.
They are known to contain viruses that are activated during installation.
Kingsoft Presentation File
In this application, a DPS file is a presentation created by Kingsoft Presentation, a slideshow creation program included in the WPS Office package.
This DPS file contains a collection of slides, the content of which can include text, images, video, audio, and shapes.
DPS files are commonly used to create presentations for business or educational purposes, such as quarterly reports or seminars.
